People who are always feeling too tired and tend to forget things need, and on top of that, forever craving junk food & with excess pounds need to brush up on time-tested techniques and habits for good health. Eating the right foods can minimize fatigue and enhance brain health. There are also super foods or fruits to help keep excess pounds off.

Let’s start with the most basic – water. There are countless informational resources stressing the benefits of adequate hydration, so drink lots of water for optimal body functioning. Strive to drink about 10 glasses of water each day. Drink green tea as well to stay mentally alert. Green tea is also a natural way to lose weight. Its antioxidant catechins prmote the thermogenesis process by which the body converts gat into energy. Try not to skip breakfast, too. Go for a high-fiber, low-fat bowl of oatmeal with some fruit like apple. Fruits like berries and avocado (which is high in monounsaturated fat, vitamins, minerals, micro-nutrients, and antioxidants) are also ideal.

For brain health, load up on omega-3 faty acid-rich fish and complex carbohydrates such as whole grains.
